Make Everyday Thanksgiving Day

Everyday can be a day of thanksgiving. Just fill your days and your moments with gratitude for the people that fill your life, the home that gives you shelter, anything that adds to the beauty of your surroundings, the inventions that save you time and make your life a whole lot easier, and the many people, places, and things that add to the richness of living.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to you!!!

Thanksgiving is a day we often celebrate with family and friends. We eat too much and hopefully smile a lot as we share this day together. But as you do so remember to reflect on your gratitude for all you have and for all that you are. You can fill this day and every day with thanks.

Enjoy your day and enjoy your holiday. There is always so much to be thankful for. For me, I am looking forward to sharing this day with loved ones, for putting lots of love and joy into the food I cook, and appreciating the people in my life, and the many gifts that fill that life.

Week 4 - Everyday Life: Weekly Gratitude Journal Prompts

Week 4: Everyday Life

Our everyday lives are filled with things that enhance our earthly existence. Many of them can easily be taken for granted because we become so accustomed to their presence in our lives... the phone, computer, the washer and dryer, the wall clock, table lamp, the bowls and plates.

So, this week the focus for daily gratitude prompts is on the things we interact with every day. With gratitude for the little things, we can have greater appreciation for our immediate surroundings.

Wishing you a great and grateful week!!

Gratitude Quote: Chesterton

“I would maintain that thanks are the highest form of thought; and that gratitude is happiness doubled by wonder.”
G. K. Chesterton
When we are thankful, we are able to focus on the good things in life. When our focus is on appreciation, we are able to perceive the world in a positive light. And in doing so, we instill our moments with happiness. Gratitude is truly a means for achieving more happiness in our lives.

It is through this mindset that we can experience the wonders of our environment and the fact of our very existence.

Gratitude Quote: A.A. Milnes

“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”  ~ A. A. Milnes
I love this sweet quote from the stories of Winnie the Pooh and Piglet.
